AVP-R

i've been always a fan of the movie Alien up to the last movie of it the Alien Resurrection but then when the movie Alien Vs. Predator was released couple of years ago i was really excited to watch it for the reason that the Two most watched scifi movie was combined in one whole movie. the AVP was very nice! now another one was being showed and its the part 2 of AVP. its as awesome as the part 1 because in this AVP-R another species was made and ofcourse if u see the first movie u know what im talking about! but if not...wel just watch it! nice one!

memories of christmas

as the christmas is near...near as in 1 night away, i cant help but to think about the philippines where i grew up! as this time of the year comes ofcourse it is exciting for me.
I remember when we were still all in the philippines, i live in a compound where it is all my family in my father side where me and my sisters actually grew up together with my cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandmas... every christmas eve where the noche buena is happening all some of us go to church to hear mass and others will stay for the preparation of the noche buena. in our compound there are 6 houses and where all my immidiate relative from my father side lives including us family, and what we do is for noche buena is every house has an asigned or we call "toka" for food, and as everyone prepares for the course & deserts we kids are so exicited for the night. then after the mass we go home and eat noche buena with the whole family under the mango tree where everything is already set up... the food, drinks, deserts, the christmas sounds, lights and ofcourse the gifts. yes, we all gather up and put out the food under the mango tree and share it like there is a birthday party. well, the best thing is ofcourse the exchange gifts for the adults and for us kids we are waiting for the games...yup! games as in like brthday games where there is "paluglugan" and the jackpot will be in the middle of it! yeah!!! awesome isnt it?! well thats how we celebrate our christmas eve way back when we were younger but now everybody is gone in pinas and who was left there was my 2 grandmas...sad...wish that i can experience it again oneday, wish that everyone whos here will come home again in pinas for the holidays and we all celebrate it again as we use to celebrate it before!
i missed everything there in pinas! i missed the fun and memories of mhy childhood and the way of living there, the places where we used to go and the things that we used to do! i really do feel the homesickness for a long time now eventhough i had my vacation there couple of months ago...still not the same as it was used to be! i missed everything. i know now for sure everything will be different eventhough we all decided to go back home for the holidays for the reason that couple of my relatives who already passed away but like we all say that if theres loss there will be new life...and for that all the addition to my family is my son, my ate's kids, and my cousin's kids. And for me, i want my son to experience what is the meaning of christmas in pinas! just remembering my childhood christmas makes me happy yet a tears flowing from me! i just missed my life there!

NATIONAL TREASURE: THE BOOK OF SECRETS

i just finished watching this movie at qss and i can say its a nice movie for a sequel...im always a fan of this movie for the reason ofcourse is the treasure, the locations they go for clues & esp. the history of America itself. awesome movie and for sure there will be a part3 of the movie as the president says about the page 47 of the book of the presidents! (spoiler hehehe!!!) well, just watch it! and hopefully the third one will be an awesome movie as the part 1&2.

ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS

i love the movie... my son and i watched it yesterday at qss, and we loved it! esp. when the chipmunks sings! awesome one! and my son keeps on bugging me to watch it again right now! yup...he's still awake at this time...he wants more of the singing cutie chipmunks! awesome!

who wants to marry a U.S. Citizen???

as we all know that reality shows are more popular nowadays and a lot of people really watch it. i was watching The Insider awhile ago, they featured the new reality show that will be aired on 2008 and it is "WHO WANTS TO MARRY A U.S. CITIZEN? the show features an American citizen woman and 3 illegal alien bachelors. they say that they are looking for love...duh! its a reality show esp. it involves a an opportunity to have a greencard so, how can it be love?!!! oh well, i think this reality show is boring! and yeah, then the two guys who will not win will get deported? well, maybe! or yet better whoever is going to watch this reality show, just let me know what's gonna happen when that show is over..if the two guys who didnt win will ever get deported or not?!!!

as the news breaks early this morning it is reported that the whitehouse 3rd floor was burning 9:15 this morning and the initial reports says that the fire was started at an electrical closet or booth inside the whitehouse. no one was hurt or injured, 15 fire trucks was at the whitehouse and the fire was contain already. Bush gave thanks to the firefighters.

well, i never thought i would ever bump n2 a celeb singer though! the other night when i was at work and minding my own stuff i accidentally bumped my elbow with Frankie J. yup! and i was shocked that he was there! well,because it's almost xmas and people are going to their hometown during the holidays as one of them is Him...yeah he lives in San Diego like 15mins. away from my place! cool isn't it! nwei, i appologize ofcourse and he smiled at me and said "its alright, no prob." he's a cuttie in person coz before i don't find him cute at all but when i saw him, yup he is! lol!

the new Britney???!!! wel, as i was listening to the readio station earlier the Dj phoned someone by the name of Perez Hilton and shockingly said that the Zoey 101 girl from nickelodeon Jamie Lynn Spears who is 16yrs.old, the sister of Britney is preggy...yup! as she tells Perez about it! She's 12 weeks preggy to her bf Casey Aldridge who is 19yrs.old
now said that she'll have the kid raised in her hometown in Louisiana as said that they could have a normal family life! duhhh...i don't think so...celebs don't have a normal life noh!...she kidding me?! lol!
wel, lets just see what's gonna happen! hopefully she won't screw it up like her biggy sis! but we all know celebs couples don't end up in a long relationship esp. teens!

BLOND AMBITION

just got finished watching this movie and i kinda like the movie eventhough its jessica simpson! i dont like her acting here but just a part of her scenes that i like and yet still poor movie. wel, this movie is going to be shown on Jan.28,2008 and thanks to qss i watched it before the release date! but i heard that it will go straight to dvd and as i thought... "its that how bad the movie is???!!!" wel maybe yeah! lol!

I AM LEGEND

i knew it would be the same plot from 28 days or weeks later movie that someone is immune to the virus or the one person who is the lead actor would be the one carrying the cure in his system or what so... yup same thing as the movie Omega Man in the 80's or the I am Omega that i just watched last month, and although it's always predictable what's gonna happen and what the ending is gonna be or if there will be a sequel to it...this I Am Legend by Will Smith is a lilttle bit ok than than the other so-called Last man on earth movie kinda thing! maybe bec. it's Will Smith and we know how he makes the movie a little bit interesting wel, maybe i'll rate it 5 out of 10 for me bec. its Will Smith lol!

trip #3 -> white-powdered...

yeah now i've been busy this past couple of days that i haven't been blogging at all! anwei, since i was talking about my trippings before, another additional to that is the playing around at white-powdered snow! yup! since the snow started to fall last week, a cool stuff to do within this season is to go snowboarding but since i dont know how all i do is just play with the snow! but now i really wanna learn to snowboard and one of the best place to go and the nearest snow summit at my place is the Big Bear Lake. its one of the great place to spend your winter vacation for there's a lot of activities that you can do and a nice lodging and accomodation you'll experience in this place. another thing is that its just 3hrs. drive to north-east from my place. so, now me,my son,my sisters and cousins are heading there since they are having a 3 week winter break from school. well, i cant wait to learn for the first time to snowboard.

And also i was talking to my friend who is into snowboarding, he says that it is really harder than it looks like when you are actually on the board! so, i guess more bruises and butt pains for me for i know that i'll be falling on my behind for a lot of times! Gud luck to me! lol!

another one of my needs for my bedroom is a new mattress. there is nothing wrong with my mattress right now its just that its a regular spring mattress and we all know how spring mattress works right?! wel nwei, since i heard this so called mattress i have been wanting it since then but the one that i really want was the Tempur-pedic mattress when i got to experience to sleep in it by then i have been planning to buy it but it is out of my budget since its really expensive. it is now showing today but i manage to watch it yesterday and thanks to qss for the post. nwei, i was waiting for it to come out because the movie maker of this were also the one who made the movie The Cronicles of Narnia and i really like that movie so, i assumed that this movie is nice or yet better than the Narnia movie but i was disappointed! i got bored watching this movie! i didn't like it at all it just looks very interesting in the preview but its not when you watch it!

As the Christmas day gets near, people right now are so busy thinking of what gift their going to give to their friends, families, and esp. their kids! And nowadays kids are expensive when it comes to gift giving and of course most important is that it’s should be more on educational stuff they'll also enjoy it. kids are more into computer games, playstations, wii's and xbox that for me it's not just really expensive to buy but also its not educational but we all see how people are getting addicted to it esp. kids. I really could tell because I work at one of the largest toy store company, here and across the globe and I can see how people really wait in line just to get this expensive tv-front hobby! So, for me instead of buying this kind of stuff I choose to buy the educational game just a gift for my son on Christmas. I bought him a V.Smile from Vtech and the nice thing about it is that of course it’s educational and it’s not expensive at all. So, for all those parents out there who has a kid that is into video games this is one of the best stuff that you can buy them for Christmas.

days goes by so fast as we all know and now it's almost december already and we all know that it's getting cold already while the winter season is so near. right now, having this cold weather makes my feet hurts for the reasn that i had an accident last year fracturing both of my ankles and because of that now i have a permanent arthritis! so when it's cold my feet hurt so bad that my son teases me that im a penguin! lol! so, one thing that i need in my room since im fixing it is a porable heater, so i strated looking for it by going online and i see it at walmart where me and my family usually buy stuff for home in bulks! so then i see this...

It’s part of any holiday celebration. Then after having a dinner is where really the party begins! Drinking, karaoke with magic sing, chismis, poker, and more drinking till you get drunk.

one of my projects right now is fixing my bedroom and changing all the stuff in it! and one of the things that i need to buy is a refrigerator for my bedroom. i used to have one in my bedroom but i have to give it out because it's old, small and it is starting to rust and stink already! deadly colds

As the weather here turns cold and nearing the winter season, lots of people are getting sick especially kids and older people. Fever, flu & colds are very common at this time. people are going to their doctors for flu shots even though they’re not sick, they say this helps them to prevent getting flu since it’s a flu season. Now aside from avoiding having flu is really preventing having a cold, a common cold that is deadly! As I watch the news last night they reported this Amino Virus just said to be a common cold at first and afterwards it’s deadly. it was reported that at least several people already died with this so called colds across the U.S. now officials are making sure that this wont spread anymore and I’m not really sure if it’s airborne or not. So be careful not to get sick! Just eat well and drink lots of fluids...it will really help!

MAN FROM EARTH

what if a man lives 14,000 years and talking to u as it never aged?! would it be possible? crazy if it is! this movie makes you really think. a mind-buggling and it would really test ur knowledge & faith aswell! and what if this man really exist in our present time from a caveman evolving to a present man right now and asked you a question like what he asked his friends in this movie that made them all think?... wel just watch this movie, i highly recommend it! and its showing in theatres and luckily i just finished watching it online! thanks to qss!

speaker lamp

i was in my bedroom and looking around it and felt like it need some remodeling and decorations coz for me it feels like its not cozy & stylish. so made some thinking that im gonna change my bedroom into the bedroom that i really like. i got alot of plans and stuff that i need and wrote it down and shockingly its gonna be so damn expensive for me! but i know its gonna be lovely eventhough my room is not so big! and adding some surround system is one of my plan. so i decided to check out on some home theatre system and i found this awesome thing! its a speaker lamp. wow! i loved it the first time i saw it yet another expensive stuff for me! the Soundolier DUO Wireless Speaker Lamp is cool coz its 2 in 1 no need for me to make holes on the wall or make alot of space for it. i love it but i think it can wait since my priority right now is to buy my comfy mattress, a xmas gift for myself! hay...i hope that the matress is on sale so i can have an extra money for some other stuff that i need to buy esp. my son's mini electric toy car! hay!

REDFORD, STREEP, & CRUISE

lions for lambs...for me its just a nice movie not an awesome one! i just watched it earlier and maybe for other its boring coz its a documentary and political thriller movie but for me this movie is well said & shown. well done! simple yet outstanding movie that would make you realize alot of things about what's really going on with our society,our government esp. those troops who risk their lives just to have peace! sucks that people really sacrifice their lives for something they really believe in yet never achieved. i wish someday everything will end up as we all hope for!

LIONS FOR LAMBS

oh yeah...i would definitely watch this! its not just because it looks nice and the critic ratings are high but for the reason that one of the main cast is Tom Cruise. yeah im a die hard Tom Cruise fan, a collector of all of his movies in dvds since i can remember collecting it! love all his movies esp. the Top Gun i think every Tom Cruise fan loves that movie! oh well im one of them. wel i bet this one is one of the best too. and because there's meryl streep & robert redford. i cant wait to watch this movie and it is showing right now Nov.9 in theatres world wide! and just wait a couple of months for me to get the dvd and add it to my Tom Cruise Movie Collection.

daylight saving time

when i woke up this morning and looked at the clock i isaw it was already 11:30am and it's the time when i usualy get out of bed! yeah...lagi tanghali gumising! nwei, i did my morning routines and went out of the bedroom to go eat breakfast! well,that is my breakfast time lol! then suddenly my sister asked me how com im awake and out of the room already! crazy sis, asking me that! hmp! we'll i forgot that it was daylight saving time today that happend 2:00am. this daylight saving time happens twice a year here in the u.s. and now the time move an hour backwards here. so everytime now that im gonna call the 2 countries that i usually call i have to adjust an hour of time. like for example it's 5pm here of nov.4 and it's 9am of nov.5 in the philippines. or in south korea where i sometimes call my ex who is now just my really great. and my bestfriend whos stationd in japan right now! so everytime my bestfriend calls its freaking early in the morning here as in "madaling-araw!" yea the time where im in the middle of a good night sleep! kaloka!!!

online movies for free

so damn boring day today! there is nothing to do just to sit around for the whole day and watch tv and movies online. well speaking of free movies online,there is this site where i always watch those new releases for the theatres and some old movies. well,my cousin told me about this site where he said he can watch the movies that are just released from theatres and that is not even in dvds yet. at first i didnt believe him coz he always bluffs me but then he told me to try it its really working! so went home and tried it and whhaaallllaaaaa....its true! its working! so since then i didnt go to the theatres anymore and just just waited it to be posted in the site after just a couple of days that it is shown in theatres! so just wanna share it to u! coz i have watched alot of movies in this site since then! its free so dont worry! u just need to sign up and make a profile and ur on! imagin watching it for free and u save alot of money. and esp. for those who are in the other countries that the movies that are shown here in the U.S. are ofcourse on their release date but for them they just have to wait for couple more months just to be shown in their countries. so if u are a movie addict just quicksilverscreen and a free movie for you!

oohhh...i wet myself!

Oct. 31st ...but ofcourse its halloween time! last night was the awaited trick or treat time for kids, teens & i guess some adults too but for me and my son is not! well, we love halloween but since my kiddo was born we dont go out to go trick or treating for the reason that my kid is so scared of masks or anything that looks creepy, so instead of us staying at home and giving some candies to other kids i just decided to bring matthew to the Pumpkin Station by Plaza Bonita Mall near my place. Pumpkin station is like a farm canival just for little kids. it has kiddie rides, kiddie games, giant inflatable slides and petting zoo.

this is the pix that everytime my son looks at it he always say "oohhh...i wet myself!" lol!

wel speaking of rides, one of the kiddie ride there is a mini boat, a funny thing happened was that we were waiting outside for the ride to stop so that my kiddo can ride it. wel we were only 1 whos in line waiting, then when the guy who operates the boat started to get the ticket so my kiddo just went in and so eager to ride it he never thought that there was a water so he just climb in and there he just soaked his right foot into the freezing water! funny thing was when his foot got soaked he froze like an ice for couple of seconds coz he was shocked i guess because the water was so damn cold but that wet pants,shoe and sock didnt stop him from ridding that boat so he just climb in as f like nothing happened and we were laughin' so hard that even that cute operator guy laughed out load with us.

30 DAYS OF NIGHT

one word for it...UGLY! as in the movie was so ugly! i've been waiting for it to come out in theatres so that in a couple of days i cud watch the movie online and yeah i did and it sucks! good thing i have this site where i can watch all the new released and past movies for free so i wont go to movies anymore and pay. hehe! nwei, i was exited to watch it because of the bloodtrails of it showing how it started or something...well it was a tease and when i saw the whole movie of 30 days of nights starring josh hartnett, its not even scary at all and the thing that makes it ugly is when at the near end josh decided to inject himself a blood of a vampire just to save his wife and a child then at the ending part was when he decided to just die by waiting for the sunrise! hmp! so ugly! i gave it 1 star for the effort.

omg! its so close now!

damn fire is so close now to my place and still not yet contained and now officials says that it will still continue through out the week. damn! if these fire really spread here in our area, it will never even stop! imagin burning alot of houses, commercial buildings and businesses here and he naval base...it will be crazy there will be nowhere to evacuate and the only place will be available to stay is by the beach! omg! its really close i think like 5-10 miles away from my place where the fire is now! it is so hot, alot of ashes and the smoke is terrible and many people are having asthma problem, cough and headaches! disaster! good thing that we are always updated bec. of the news in t.v. and radios. all local channels are airing the firestorm news 24/7 since sunday morning!

when nature strikes

In the Eastern and Southern Coast it is mostly hurricane strikes them, the Midlands & Central States it's tornadoes! good thing that we dont have it here in the Western Coast; no hurricanes,floods,tornadoes but the natural disaster that strikes this part of america is the wild fire and now we have one and worst than 2003 fire storm.

5:30am when the fire started in Malibu in Los Angeles, it was said that a power line in that area was tipped over by the strong Sta. Anna wind yesterday morning that now spreads out and causes the WILDFIRE in that area burning acres of land and hundreds of houses including the castle that was built in 1978 that resembles the 13th century castle that is in the estate for $17m. was totally burned down to ashes and the fire in that area are still raging!

Another one of the fire also started yesterday here in my area in San Diego, it started in the inland east area of Witch Creek yesterday and now the raging fire spreads out having a multiple fires in different places in the whole San Diego County. The strong and gusty wind makes it more difficult for the fire fighters and esp. the hellicopters to contain the fire that is widely spread, that this only means that more amber...more fire! 100,000 acres were destroyed, almost a thousand of homes were burned, hundreds of people were injured including fire fighters and 1 dead was reported just this morning and it is not over yet. now alot of people are in the evacuation area including their animals. the classes was suspended until further notice and except freeway 5, all other freeways are closed down. now having a wildfire in 8 different part of san diego made it so hot and very difficult in breathing thats why people were told to wear mask esp. with those who has an asthma and for the kids too. and lucky for us who are in the coast area we're still safe but we can smell the fire from here and still we are not even sure that we are totally safe from the Fire Storm in our area because the Sta. Anna wind is blowing towards us and the meteorologist says that this wind will continue till the next couple of days so who knows it might spread here but hopefully not! gotta watch now for more news and updates about this nature outrage!

trip #2 -> im high

here is another trip of mine! to jump 13,000 ft from a plane and enjoy the adrenaline rush! yup! skydiving is one of the things i wanna do! i've been planning this for a year already but eveytime i ask my friends if they wanna try doing it everyone said just one thing "LAKAS NG TRIP MO NOH?!!! YOKO PA MAMATAY!!!" funny how everybody told me that! without me having explaining it yet to them, and eventhough i told them that it will be a great experience and we will be jumping with a pro still they call me crazy & risk taker! lol! infaireness i am! but it will be a great experience noh! lol! Skydive San Diego is not that far from my place, its just 15min. drive going south near mexico and while on air you can see the Baja of Mexico and the nice hills of southern california (san diego area) and now they have a cheap online ticket for this so called my crazy, adrenaline-rushing interest and if i really love it...i bet its going to be often jump for me!

im still wide awake and waiting for the time...time to show Inuyasha on adultswim! yup i know im too old for this cartoons but i really do love this anime. it starts at 1:30am here and ends @ 2:30am mon.-fri. so it just means that im always wide awake at this time! lol! i really like this anime coz of the crazy love, funny,and action story of the half demon half human named Inuyasha who only wants is to become a full-blooded demon by means of possesing the Sacred Shiquon Jewel but but rather fell inlove with a human named Kikyo the Priestess, the jewel keeper; who died in thinking of Inuyasha betrayed her & vice versa with Inuyasha thinking the same way too.
wel just try to follow the story of this anime...so nice! i really do love it! so now still have to wait a half an hour to watch this! for me its so addictive!

This is my life after dark every week and sometimes 3 nights in a row in a week since last year Dec. till the last 2 nights before my vacation in the Phillipines last March. Four months of night life every week made me more crazy hehehe! Corona, Jose Cuervo Special, Adios, Jose Cuervo Patron--my favorite!, Sex on the beach, Vodka redbull, and more free coronas & shots of liquors from those so called generous guys! hehehe! And a non-stop dancing all night on top of the stage while wearing mini skirt just to show-off my moves with it and seeing those guys peeping at me...hehehe! naughty girl! Yup, i miss it so bad for the reason that i don't go out that much anymore because of my bestbud who's always at work and my bf who always tells me "HON,BEHAVE KA DUN! YOKO MAKIKIPAGSAYAW KA SA MGA LALAKI LALO NA MAGPAPAHIPO KUNG SAAN SAAN HA!!!" thats what he says everytime i go out! funny how i follow him eventhough he's in pinas... oh well, im a good girl now! hehehe!

quarter-life crisis

...it is when you stop going along with the crowd and start realizing that there are many things about yourself that you didn't know and may not like. You start feeling insecure and wonder where you will be in a year or two, but then you got scared because you barely know where you are right now. You started realizing that people are selfish and that, maybe, those friends that you thought you were so close to aren't exactly the greatest people you have ever met, and the people you have lost touch with are some of the most important ones.What you don't recognize is that they are realizing that too, and aren't really cold, catty,mean or insincere, but that they are as confused as you. You look at your job... and it is not even close to what you thought you would be doing, or maybe you are looking for a job and realizing that you are going to start from the bottom and that scares you. Your opinions have gotten stronger. You see what others are doing and find yourself judging more than usual because suddenly you realize that you have certain boundaries in your life and are constantly adding things to your list of what is acceptable and what isn't. One minute, you are insecure and then the next you're confident. You laugh and cry with the greatest forces of your life.You feel alone, scared and confused. Suddenly, changes is the enemy, and you try to cling to your past, but soon you realize that the past is drifting further and further away, and there is nothing to do but stay where you are or move forward. You get your heart broken and wonder how someone you love could do such damage to you. Or you lay in bed and wonder why you can't meet anyone decent enough that you want to get to know better. Or maybe you love someone but love someone else too and cannot figure out why you are doing this because you know that you aren't a bad person. One night stands and random hook ups start to look cheap. Getting wasted and acting like an idiot starts to look pathetic. You go through the same emotions and questions over and over, and talking with your friends about the same topics because you can't seem to make a decision. You worry about loans, money, the future and making a life for yourself......and while winning the race would be great, right now you'd just like to be a contender...What you may not realize is that everyone reading this relates to it. We are in our best of times and our worst of times, trying as hard as we can to figure this whole thing out.

It's school time!

August 20th, this is the day were Matthews' 1st time at school. Alot of parents are trying to put their kids at an early age but for me i decided to put him in preschool at his certain age at 4. Morning at 11am, i started preparing him for school and he was so excited. 11:45am the time for his school...his excitement triggered his adrenaline to go hyper. I stayed with him like the other parents does. I watch him pay attention to his teacher & observing him while he interacts with his classmates. At 12 noon the bell rang and its time to line up for lunch, on the way to cafeteria i was holding his hand while walking. Cafeteria food was not at his interest bcoz its burrito day for lunch, so he just drank his milk and waited for the others to finish their meal. Lunch time is done and its time to go back to their classroom. On the way there, i said my bye bye to him coz its time for me to go and leave him on his own with his teacher. A kiss, a goodbye hug and lots of love was left for him. as i leave him there a teardrop almost fell from my eyes...a tear of missing him already and a thought of my son is growing up so fast and sooner i'll be seeing him going to school on his own. Now, i realized that we are not growing younger anymore and this special moment of my life with my son is such a wonderful experience. so i may say it's PRICELESS!
